Kostis Velonis‚ work discusses the relation of communism as an utopia and modernism as an utopia, re-constructing and commenting on works of post-revolutionary Soviet and communist artists like Tatlin, Popowa, Klucis and many more, who at the same time developed a Modernist approach in the special Russian & Soviet context.
