Deep Love Algorithm is the title of my upcoming new work, produced for the Bergen Assembly, a new triennal in the city of Bergen, curated by Ekaterina Degot and David Riff. I’m intensively working on it, creating a narration of a could-be-couple Jan and Margret who happen to do a research about databases.

To get in the mood already now, you may pay Marc Kinchen, US house producer a visit – his house classic Burning (1991) plays a role in that story as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDV0nR0ivC0

Deep Love Algorithm. Installation 2013. Idea and Realisation: Francis Hunger, Photography: Sebastian Hühmer, Sound: Cornelia Friederike Müller, Translation: Tom Morrison, Actress: Franziska Leiste, Actor: Torsten Hampel.

Special Thanks to Inke Arns, Elizabeth Gerdemann, Claudia Lindner, Daniel Neumann, Suzanne Treister and those who were involved in the production and realisation of this work, especially Ekaterina Degot & David Riff and the outstanding team of the Bergen Assembly.

A small hint to the research that is behind the new work is visible at databasecultures.irmielin.org which hopefully will grow soon as more research is done and more people join the undertaking.
